A summer romance by a lake turns to forever love. He was born with a gold spoon in his mouth. She was born deaf. Yet, somehow they knew they had found their soul mates. At the end of summer, they blew kisses across the lake, not knowing if they would ever meet again. Years later, they did. The world was their oyster as they traveled the world in style. Their journey of self discovery had them running with the bulls in Pamplona and even enduring the Camino de Santiago, a 700 mile hike known as ‘the way’. They had it all. Everyone said they were the happiest and most beautiful couple in the world. Then during a routine Christmas visit back home in Manhattan, everything changed. One would survive. The other didn’t.

Meet Garrett Carkos

Garrett Carkos is a truly complicated man. After being born and raised in glamorous Hollywood, and living a life of privilege, he did the unthinkable and became a cop. After one too many car chases and gunfights, he moved to Las Vegas and worked as a blackjack dealer. There he honed his people skills and soon became a boss at one of the mega resorts. It’s the combination of those diametrically opposed careers that he draws on to write his unique brand of erotica.

He smokes, drinks mostly beer, wears designer clothes, still drives a red Porsche, and spends his days on the golf course and his nights in a casino.

In his spare time, Mr. Carkos ghostwrites for several well known XXX rated magazines, and has over 100 free short stories posted online. He has a blog and website where he writes fantasy stories on request. Naturally, for a fee.

With more failed marriages and relationships than he can count, he now lives the good life in his Las Vegas penthouse with his young cocktail waitress girlfriend, and their three dogs.

Bare Back

N. Kuhn

Romantic Suspense

Even after 10 years, Kelli has never recovered from Mitch breaking her heart. She left Mitch and her home behind to live with her father after that devastating night. Her father turned her into a tough as nails bounty hunter. Together they are after a bank robber in the wilds of Garner State Park. When her father is shot, Kelli must learn to work together with Mitch to make it out safely. However, will her heart still be safe?

“We need to get out of these woods,” she says to me. Her breathing is hard, and I’m entranced by the sight of her chest heaving. What I wouldn’t give to run my fingers over her nipples, watching her shudder as she falls apart at my touch.
“Snap out of it Mitch, what are we going to do?” I slip the map out of my pocket, trying to gauge where we are.

“Okay, it looks like we’re around here. We can follow the creek to here,” I point out. “It’s about a two mile hike, uphill. Then when we reach this rock formation, we can go around it, and start heading north. The park ranger fire tower is only a few miles from there.”

“Let’s go then,” she says.

“You do realize we can’t hike when it’s dark right? It’s going to be dark in about two hours. I say we head out and camp at the rock formation.”

“Are you kidding me?” she says, her voice getting louder. “You know what kind of animals are in here? We don’t even have my tents anymore! They were on my horse, that are now lost somewhere out here.”

“There should be some caves in the formation. People are always coming out here to climb through them. We’ll be fine. I’ll take first watch so you can sleep and then you can take the second. We’ll be fine.” I had grabbed one of the sleeping bags from the camp, just in case we needed it. Now it’s looking like a great idea. We’re definitely going to need it.

N. Kuhn’s Facebook Book Release Party for BARE BACK

N. Kuhn grew up in a small town in Western New York. Having spent her afternoons outside or with a book, she grew up with a love of reading and writing. Her mother and grandmother fully encouraged this in her. Many years later, after a husband and children, she made a promise to her dying grandmother to fulfill her dream of being an author. Her grandmother lived to see N’s name in print. This was a turning moment for her. Driven by ambition and a promise made, she has since published several titles including the Mohawk Trilogy, Tucked In, Buffalo Rocker and the Tricks series.

N Kuhn has several other books that will be out later this year. When she’s not writing, she is in college for a Business degree, runs her blog, bartends, and promotes for other authors. Family and coffee are her two staples in life.
